Acapulco Spice Blend

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method

1 cup of cumin seed
1/2 cup of dried oregano
1/4 cup of garlic, granulated
2 tablespoons of chili powder
2 tablespoons of black pepper, coarsely ground
1 teaspoon of red pepper, ground
salt,  to taste



Toast the cumin seeds. Allow them to cool, the grind in a spice grinder.

Combine all ingredients. Cover and store in a cool, dry place.

Yield:
"1 1/2 cups"
