Baked Oysters 3
5 oysters
2 teaspoons of butter
1 teaspoon of chopped parsley
freshly ground black pepper to taste
Removed oysters from shells and drain them.
Place each oyster back on the half shell with a tiny piece of butter on top.
Place in baking pan, sprinkle with parsley and pepper, bake in 400ºF. oven
for 6 - 8 minutes. Serves 1
Sauce:
1 tablespoon of butter
juice of 1 lemon
2 teaspoons of grated onion
1/4 teaspoon of tarragon vinegar
1/8 teaspoon of dry mustard
Melt the butter, stir in the other ingredients, and pour over oysters. serve
hot. Serves 1
