Blueberry Salad
1 (3-ounce) package of blackberry gelatin
2 cups of boiling water
1 (15-ounce) can of blueberries with juice
1 (8-ounce) can of crushed pineapples, drained
Topping:
1 (8-ounce) package of cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup of sugar
1/4 pint of sour cream
1/2 teaspoon of vanilla
1/2 cup of nuts
Dissolve gelatin in boiling water. Add blueberries and pineapple; pour
into a 9x12-inch glass baking dish. Refrigerate until set.
Blend cream cheese and sugar. Add sour cream slowly and then vanilla.
Spread over gelatin salad and sprinkle with nuts. Refrigerate until
serving time. Serves 12. |
