5 cups of sifted confectioners' sugar
Water to moisten
Food coloring

Place the confectioners' sugar in a large mixing bowl, stir in water a tablespoon at a time until the mixture is easy spreading consistency. If the icing becomes too thin, add more sugar to thicken. Stir in food coloring until desired color is reached. Frosts two 9 inch layers
