Deviled Scallops

1 quart of scallops
1 small onion, chopped
1/2 cup of melted butter
1/2 teaspoon of dry mustard
1/2 teaspoon of salt
1/4 teaspoon of pepper
2 tablespoons of flour
1 cup of scaled milk
1/2 cup of grated cheese
1/2 cup of buttered bread crumbs

Combine the scallops, onion and butter in a saucepan and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Stir in the mustard, salt, pepper and flour, then add the milk gradually, stirring constantly until thickened. Place in a baking dish and top with the cheese and bread crumbs. Bake at 350ºF for 20 minutes. Makes 6 servings
