| Easy German Chocolate Cake
1 cup of chopped pecans 1 cup of shredded coconut One 18 1/4 ounce German chocolate cake mix 1 stick of butter or margarine One 8 ounce package of cream cheese, cut in pieces One 16 ounce package of confectioners sugar |
| Mix pecans and coconut together and place in the bottom of a greased 9 x 13 inch baking pan. Prepare cake mix as directed and spoon over pecan coconut mixture. In a saucepan, heat butter, and cream cheese together and mix well. Add confectioners sugar and remove pan from heat. Blend until smooth. Spoon over top of cake mix. Bake in a preheated oven at 350ºF. for 35 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Do not cut until cold.
