| In a large skillet, sauté the onion in melted butter until tender. Mix bouillon, onion, and salt and bring to a boil in a medium saucepan. Reduce the heat, and simmer. Pour over French bread, and top with parmesan cheese. For the best flavor, allow it to sit for a day before serving
