French Onion Soup

2 tablespoons of butter
2 cups of sliced ham
two 10 1/2 ounce cans of beef bouillon
1/2 teaspoon of salt
2 slices of toasted French bread
a dash of pepper
1 tablespoon of parmesan cheese

In a large skillet, sauté the onion in melted butter until tender. Mix bouillon, onion, and salt and bring to a boil in a medium saucepan. Reduce the heat, and simmer. Pour over French bread, and top with parmesan cheese. For the best flavor, allow it to sit for a day before serving
