Irish Mist Bars

1/2 cup of butter, softened
1 1/2 cups of packed light brown sugar, divided
1 cup of all purpose flour
1 tablespoon of all purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon of salt
2 eggs
1 tablespoon of Irish Mist liqueur
1 cup of chopped nuts

In a large mixing bowl, combine butter, 1/2 cup of brown sugar, and 1 cup of flour, blend until crumbly. Firmly press crumb mixture into a 9 inch square baking pan. Bake at 350ºF. for 10 minutes; set aside to cool. In a large mixing bowl, combine remaining 1 cup brown sugar, 1 tablespoon flour and salt; blend well. Add eggs, 1 at a time, beating well after each addition. Blend in liqueur, stir in nuts. Spread batter evenly over cooled crust. Bake at 350ºF for 20 minutes. Cool in pan before cutting into bars. Makes 1 1/2 dozen
