Pickled Oysters 5 whole cloves 10 peppercorns 4 cups of fresh shelled oysters, drained 1/2 cup of cider vinegar 1/2 cup of oyster liquid Add the whole cloves and peppercorns to vinegar and oyster liquid. bring the mixture to boiling. Add the oysters and simmer until the oysters curl. Cool and then chill in refrigerator until ready to serve. Makes 6 to 8 servings |
