Southern Fried Oysters

1 egg
1/4 cup of milk
1/4 cup of flour
1/4 teaspoon of salt
1 pint of oysters, drained
1 cup of self rising cornmeal

Combine the egg, milk, flour and salt and mix well. Dip the oysters in egg mixture, then coat with cornmeal. Fry in deep, hot fat until golden brown.
