Shanghai Pork Roast

2 tablespoons of olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 teaspoon of dried rosemary
1/2 teaspoon of ground thyme
one 2 pound pork roast
1 cup of water
2 teaspoons of teriyaki sauce

Preheat oven to 350ºF. Mix oil, garlic, and herbs and rub all over pork roast. Place roast in a shallow pan. Combine the water and teriyaki and pour over the roast. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes per pound of meat, basting periodically, until meat thermometer registers 175ºF. Let the meat rest 10 minutes before carving. Serves 4 to 6
