Veal Goulash Austria

3  pounds of veal, cubed
flour
3 tablespoons of fat or butter
4 - 5 large onions, thinly sliced
1 teaspoon of salt
1/4 teaspoon of pepper
3 1/2 - 4 teaspoons of paprika
1 No. 2 1/2 can of sauerkraut, rinsed and drainedv1 cup of white wine
1 1/2 cup of sour cream

Dredge meat with flour, brown in fat with onions. add seasonings, sauerkraut and wine, cover and simmer for 1 hour, stirring occasionally. Stir in sour cream, cover and simmer for 30 minutes longer. Just before serving add additional seasonings to taste. Makes 6 - 8 servings
