Apricot-Sausage Kabobs

One 8 ounce package of fully cooked sausage links
one 16 to 17 ounce can of apricot halves, drained and 3.4 cup juice reserved
1/4 cup of soy sauce
2 tablespoons of packed brown sugar
one 15 1/2 ounce can of pineapple chunks, drained
30 sandwich picks



Cut sausages into thirds in small bowl combine reserved apricot juice, soy sauce and brown sugar.  Stir in sausage pieces.  Let stand 5 minutes. Cut apricot halves in half.  Drain sausages, reserving sauces.  Alternate apricot, sausage and pineapple pieces on each sandwich pick.  Arrange about 15 kabobs on microwave roasting rack, turning kabobs over and basting with sauce after half the cooking time.  repeat with remaining kabobs.
