Onion Appetizers
4 medium onions, finely chopped
3 tablespoons of butter or margarine
1/2 cup of dairy sour cream
1 tablespoon of flour
1/2 teaspoon of salt
a dash of pepper
1 teaspoon of caraway seed
3 eggs, beaten
4 bacon slices, cooked and crumbled
1 unbaked 9 inch pie shell
Sauté onion in butter in a skillet.
Blend sour cream, flour, salt, pepper and caraway seed. Beat in
eggs. Stir in bacon and onion, Pour into pie shell.
Bake, uncovered at 325ºF. to 40 minutes or until filling is set.
Let stand a few minutes. Cut into wedges to serve. 16 appetizers |
