Shrimp Casserole RecipesABc.ocm 9/2/06 3 tablespoons of butter 1/2 cup of chopped onion 1/4 cup of chopped green pepper 1 clove minced garlic 2 pounds of raw shrimp, thawed 1 teaspoon of salt 1/2 teaspoon of fresh ground black pepper 1 teaspoon of paprika 1 can of cream of shrimp soup 1 can of tomato soup 1/2 cup of light cream 3 tablespoons of dry sherry 4 tablespoons of grated parmesan cheese
Sauté the onion, green pepper and garlic in butter for 5 minutes. Add the shrimp, salt, pepper and paprika for 3 minutes. Add the soups, light cream and sherry. Place all in a buttered casserole. Sprinkle the top with parmesan cheese. Bake at 400ºF. for 10 minutes, until delicately browned. Can be prepared ahead of time, refrigerate, then bring to room temperature and place in oven. Serves 6 - 8 |
