Sour Cream Coffee
Cake #3
1/2 cup of butter
1/2 cup of shortening
1 cup of sugar
2 eggs
2 cups of sifted flour
1 teaspoon of baking soda
1/2 teaspoon of salt
1 cup of sour cream
1 teaspoon of vanilla
Cream butter, shortening and sugar. Add eggs and vanilla, beating until
light and fluffy. Sift flour, soda, and salt together. Fold into creamed
mixture with sour cream. Place half of the batter in greased and floured
9 x 13 pan. Cover with half the batter. Cover with Topping. Repeat. Bake
at 350ºF. for 25 to 30 minutes. Can be frozen and reheated. Delicious!
Topping: Stir together 1/2 cup of granulated sugar, 1/3 cup of brown
sugar, 1 teaspoon of cinnamon and 1 cup of chopped pecans. |
