Chop the fruit and nuts fine. Pour sherry over this and let stand overnight. Beat the eggs, brown sugar and melted butter. Add the flour, cinnamon, vanilla, and soda which has been added to sour milk. Add the fruit. Mix. Drop onto a greased cookie sheet. Bake at 325ºF. for 12 - 15 minutes. |
