Sesame Seed cookies RecipesFromScratch.com8/27/06

1/4 pound of butter or margarine
1 cup of sugar
1 teaspoon of vanilla
1 egg
4 tablespoons of sesame seed, toasted
1 3/4 cup of flour
2 teaspoons of baking powder
1/2 teaspoon of salt
1/2 teaspoon of soda, dissolved in 1 tablespoon of warm water

Mix and drop by half teaspoon on cookie sheet. Press with fork and bake at 350ºF for 10 minutes.
