Wonderland Cookies

1/2 cup of butter
1 cup of sugar
2 Eggs
2 tablespoons of cream
1 teaspoon of vanilla
2 1/2 cups of flour
1/2 teaspoon of salt
1/4 teaspoon of soda
Food coloring

Mix butter, sugar & eggs. Stir in cream & vanilla. Stir dry ingredients; blend in. Tint dough with food coloring. Chill dough 4-5 hours. Heat oven to 400ºF.   Roll dough a little at a time 1/8" thick on well floured cloth covered board. Keep remaining chilled. Cut out cookies. Place on un-greased sheet. Bake 6-8 minutes. Let stand a minute before removing from sheet.
