Oatmeal Raisin Cookies

4 ounces of raisins
12 ounces of rolled oats
8 ounces of whole meal flour
1/4 teaspoon of salt
2 tablespoons of sesame oil
2 tablespoons of malt extract

Place the raisins in a pan and just cover with water, then simmer for 5 minutes. Mix the oats, flour and salt together then rub in the oil. Add the raisins and their cooking liquid and the malt and stir together. Add sufficient extra water to make a thick batter. Form cookies and place on a lightly greased baking sheet. Bake at 180ºC/350ºF.  /gas mark 4 for 25 minutes or until golden brown. Converted by MC_Buster. Converted by MM_Buster v2.0l.
