German Sweet Chocolate Cream Brownies
 
 BROWNIE LAYER
 1 pkg. (4 oz.) Baker's German's sweet chocolate
 1/4 cup of margarine or butter
 3/4 cup of sugar
 2 eggs
 1 teaspoon of vanilla
 1/2 cup of flour
 1/2 cup of chopped nuts
 CREAM CHEESE LAYER
 4 ounces of  cream cheese, softened
 1/4 cup of sugar
 1 egg
 1 tablespoon of flour

Heat oven to 350ºF.  Microwave chocolate and margarine in large microwavable bowl on high 2 minutes or until margarine is melted. Stir until chocolate is completely melted. Stir 3/4 cup sugar into melted chocolate mixture. Mix in 2 eggs and vanilla until well blended. Stir in 1/2 cup flour and nuts. Spread in greased 8 inch square pan. Mix cream cheese, 1/4 cup sugar, 1 egg and 1 tablespoon flour in same bowl until smooth. Place spoonfuls over brownie batter. Swirl with knife to marbleize. Bake for 35 minutes or until toothpick inserted into center comes out with fudgy crumbs. Do not overbake. Cool in pan; cut into squares. Yield: Makes about 16 brownies.
