DJ's Brownies

6 tablespoons of Wesson oil
2 squares of Bakers Chocolate
1 cup of sugar
1/2 teaspoon of salt
2/3 cup of flour
1/2 teaspoon of baking powder
sift the dry ingredients
2 eggs
1/2 teaspoon of vanilla
1/2 cup of chopped nuts
1/2 cup of dates

Melt the chocolate in Wesson oil, add sugar, beat in eggs. Add sifted dry ingredients, nuts and dates, press down in pan. Bake about 17 minutes at 350ºF.   About 2 dozen
