| Carob Cake
1/2 cup of soft margarine or butter 2 cups of brown sugar 2 eggs 1/2 cup of carob powder 1/2 cup of water 2 1/2 cups of whole wheat flour 1/2 teaspoon of soda 1/2 teaspoon of cream of tartar 1/2 cup of yogurt 1/3 cup of non fat milk |

Cream together the sugar and the margarine, beat eggs in well. Add the water and the carob powder. Beat. Stir together flour, soda, and cream of tartar. Graually add the dry mixture and beat after each addition. Alternately add the yogurt and the milk., Beat the cake mixture for 1 minute more. Pour the batter in a greased and floured pan of your choice. Bake at 350ºF. for 30 - 35 minutes until done. Serve with your favorite sauce.
