Honey Cake
2 cups of unsifted whole wheat pastry flour
2 teaspoons of baking powder
1/2 teaspoon of salt
1/2 cup of butter or corn oil
1 cup of honey
2 eggs
1/2 cup of milk
1 teaspoon of vanilla |

Sift dry ingredients together. Cream butter or oil
and honey together, add eggs and beat well. Add dry ingredients slowly,
alternately with milk, stirring only enough to blend. add vanilla.
Bake in greased and floured loaf or square pan at 350ºF. for 35 minutes
