Russian Tea Cakes
1 cup of butter 1/2 cup of powdered sugar 1 teaspoon of vanilla 1/4 teaspoon of salt 2 1/4 cups of flour 3/4 cup of chopped nuts |

In large bowl combine first 4 ingredients on low speed of mixer about 1 minute. Gradually add flour at low speed until just combined. Stir in nuts. Roll dough into 1 inch balls; place 1 inch apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350ºF. for 8-10 minutes. While warm, roll in powdered sugar. Cool. Reroll in powdered sugar. Yield 4 dozen cookies.
