| Toffee Ice Cream Dessert
1 cup of butter 2 cups of sugar 3 egg yolks 3 ounces of unsweetened chocolate 1 teaspoon of vanilla 1/2 pound of vanilla wafers 3 egg whites 1/2 cup of cream, whipped 1 cup of almonds, slivered |

Instructions:
Cream the butter and sugar. Add egg yolks one at a time beating after each addition. Add melted chocolate and vanilla. Fold in beaten egg whites and whipped cream. Spoon onto pan which has been buttered and sprinkled with crushed vanilla wafers, pie crust style. Sprinkle almonds on top and cover with crushed vanilla wafers. Chill. Serves 8
