Chocolate Mousse Mousse au Chocolat France
1/4 pound of semisweet chocolate
4 egg yolks
4egg whites
4 tablespoons of butter, softened
2 tablespoons of Grand Marnier
Break the chocolate into small pieces and put on a plate. Put the
plates over a saucepan of simmering water and leave for 10 minutes until
the chocolate has melted. Beat the egg yolks in a mixer until they are
very thick. Fold in the butter, orange liqueur and melted chocolate.
Beat the egg whites until they stand in soft peaks. Fold chocolate
mixture into the egg whites with wooden spoon. Divide mixture
between six small dishes. Chill four hours before serving. 6 servings |
