French Chocolate Custards
Petits Pots de Creme au Chocolat
2 cups of milk
1/2 pound of sweet chocolate
5 egg yolks
whipped cream
Combine the milk and broken chocolate in small saucepan. Stir constantly
over low heat until chocolate is melted and mixture reaches boiling
point. Remove from heat at once. Beat egg yolks quickly until thick and
lemon colored. Pour chocolate into yolks and mix. Pour into small
custard cups. Let cool. At serving time add whirl of whipped cream on
top of each. Serve in the baking cups. Makes 6 servings |
