Plantation Pecan Pie
 
 3 Eggs
 1 cup of dark corn or cane syrup
 1/2 cup of sugar
 1/4 cup of butter or Margarine, melted
 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
 1 1/2 cups of pecan halves
 1 Nine-inch unbaked pie crust 

Preheat oven to 350ºF. In large bowl, beat eggs. Stir in syrup, sugar, butter and vanilla. Stir in pecans. Pour in crust. Bake, uncovered, 35 to 40 minutes or until knife inserted about 1-1/2 inches from edge comes out clean. Cool on wire rack.
