Fresh Corn Custard Pie
 
 2 Eggs
 1 1/2 cups Milk, scalded
 2 cups Cooked fresh corn kernels
 2 tablespoons Melted butter
 1 1/2 teaspoons Salt
 1/2 teaspoon Sugar
 1 pinch Pepper
 9 Inch unbaked pastry shell 

Beat eggs. Mix in milk, corn, butter, salt, sugar and pepper. Pour into pastry shell. Bake in 400ºF.  oven 30 minutes, or until silver knife inserted in center comes out clean. Garnish with bacon slices. Makes 6 servings.
