Caramel Crunch
1 cup of light brown sugar, firmly packed
1/2 cup of butter or margarine
1 (6-ounce) package of chocolate chips
1 cup of coarsely chopped nuts
Combine sugar and butter in saucepan; boil 7 minutes. Melt chocolate
chips in saucepan over low heat. Spread nuts over bottom of buttered
8x8-inch pan. Pour butter and sugar mixture slowly over nuts. Pour
melted chocolate over top. Cool. Cut into pieces. |
