Date Nut Balls
Cook together for 5 minutes:
1 stick of margarine
1 cup of sugar
1 egg, beaten
1 (8-ounce) package of dates, cut up
pinch of salt
Remove from heat and cool.
Add:
1 cup of chopped nuts
2 cups of Rice Krispies
1 teaspoon of vanilla
Stir well and shape into small balls. Roll in flaked coconut. |
