Aloha Spareribs
3 pounds of spareribs
1/2 cup of finely chopped onion
1/4 cup of green pepper, chopped
one 16 ounce can of tomato sauce
1/2 teaspoon of dry mustard
1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce
one (2 1/2 cup) can of crushed pineapple
1/4 cup of brown sugar |
| Cut every third rib about halfway through the strip.
Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Place in shallow pan. Bake 1 1/4 hours at 350ºF.
Pour off fat. Mix the remaining ingredients and let stand to blend flavor.
Pour over ribs. Bake 45 - 50 minutes, basting frequently to glaze ribs.Hawaiian Cookbooks
