Oriental Beef with Vegetables

1 pound of lean ground beef or ground turkey
1 large onion, coarsely chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 1/2 cups( 8 ounces) of frozen mixed vegetable medley, such as carrots, broccoli and red peppers, thawed
1/2 cup of stir fry sauce
one 3 ounce can of chow mein noodles

 

Cook the ground beef and onion in wok or large skillet over medium heat until the beef is no longer pink, stirring to separate meat. Spoon off fat. Add the garlic, stir fry for 1 minute. Add the vegetables, stir fry 2 minutes or until heated through. Add the stir fry sauce, stir fry for 30 seconds or until hot. Serve over chow mein noodles. Makes 4 servings
