French-Style Green Beans with Mushrooms
1 pound of fresh string beans, French cut
1/4 pound of fresh mushrooms, sliced
1 tablespoon of onion flakes
2 tablespoons of McCormick's Season-All
1/2 envelope of MBT Chicken Broth
several ounces of water
salt and pepper, to taste
Cook string beans for several minutes, until firm, in water seasoned with
salt, pepper, and Season-All. In a
skillet, using 2 to 3 ounces of the water and broth, cook the mushrooms with
dried onion flakes for a few minutes.
If more water is necessary, add it sparingly. Mix mushroom mixture into the
string beans, and serve.
Serves 4.
