Spicy Green Beans #2
4 cups of green beans
1 garlic clove, studded with 3 whole cloves
1/4 yellow onion, chopped
1 bay leaf
2 teaspoons of cider vinegar
1/2 teaspoon of salt
1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon of cumin
Bring 1/2 cup of water to a boil. Add garlic, onion, bay leaf
and green beans. Reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes
or until beans are tender.
Remove garlic clove and bay leaf.
Add vinegar, salt, cinnamon and cumin. Cook 1 or 2 more
minutes. Serve.
