| Christmas Casserole
7-8 slices bread, cubed (white, French or sourdough) 2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese 1 pound of diced ham or sausage 4 eggs 2 1/4 cups of milk 3 teaspoons of dry mustard 1 can cream of mushroom soup 1/2 cup of milk |

Place bread cubes in bottom of 9 x 13 greased baking dish. Sprinkle cheese and meat over bread. Beat eggs, mustard, 2 1/4 cup milk. Pour over bread mixture. Mandatory: refrigerate overnight. Then, dilute soup and 1/2 cup milk. Pour over casserole. Bake at 300ºF. for 1 1/2 hours.
