Fruit Chewies
3 ripe bananas
1 cup of chopped dates
1/4 cup of oil
2 cups of oats
1/2 cup of chopped walnuts, peanuts, or pecans
1 teaspoon of vanilla
Cut two of the bananas into medium-size chunks. Mash the 3rd
banana. Combine all ingredients and stir until mixed. Let stand
for 10 minutes. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 350 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes. Makes 2 dozen.
