Grandma's Wholesome candy
1/2 cup of peanut butter
1/4 cup of honey
1/2 cup of instant nonfat dry milk, or more as needed to hold
shape
Mix peanut butter and honey. Add instant milk until you have a
dough like consistency (not too dry but not sticky). Roll into
balls and place on waxed paper, or press into a pan lined with
waxed paper. Cut into squares, or roll into log shape and cut
into thin slices. Keep in refrigerator or freeze. Makes 24
For variety: Raisins, nuts, sunflower seeds, coconut, carob
chips, wheat germ, cinnamon, corn flakes, Rice Krispies,
granola. |
