Broccoli and Carrot
Saute
2 cups of broccoli florets
2 cups of sliced carrots
1 cup of chopped onions
2 tablespoons of minced garlic
2 tablespoons of lemon juice
2 tablespoons of chopped fresh parsley
2 teaspoon of olive oil
1/4 teaspoon of salt
1/4 teaspoon of ground black pepper
Coat a 10-inch no-stick skillet with no-stick spray and place over
medium-high heat until hot. Add the broccoli, carrots, onions, and
garlic. Cook, stirring, for 8 to 10 minutes, or until the vegetables are
crisp-tender. Add the lemon juice, parsley, oil, salt, and pepper. Toss
well. Serves 4. |
