Honey Lime Pears 1/2 cup of honey 1/4 cup of water 1/4 cup of lime juice 1/2 teaspoon of grated lime peel 2 firm, ripe pears, cored, halved, pared
To microwave: Combine honey, water and lime juice in 2-quart microwave-safe dish; microwave at HIGH (100%) 2-1/2 to 3 minutes or until mixture boils. Stir in lime peel. Add pear halves to syrup; cover with vented plastic wrap and microwave at HIGH 7 to 10 minutes or until pears are tender. Serve warm or cold with poaching liquid.
