Beef & Onion Loaf
1 1/2 pound of ground beef 3 tablespoons of flour 2 teaspoons of Worcestershire sauce 1/2 teaspoon of pepper 1 1/2 teaspoon of salt 1 small onion, grated a pinch of oregano 3/4 cup of evaporated milk 3/4 cup of water 1 tablespoon of margarine 2 cups of sliced onion rings
Combine the beef, flour, Worcestershire, salt, pepper, onion, oregano and evaporated milk. whip the mixture with spoon or electric mixer. Add milk and water, beating until liquid is dissolved. Brown onion rings in margarine in skillet, cook until tender. Spread layer of meat mixture in round shallow baking dish. Arrange onion rings on top and cover with rest of meat mixture. Cut as in pie shaped wedges with a sharp knife through entire mixture. Bake at 350ºF. for 1 hour. Yield 6 servings
