Glazed Meat Loaf
2 eggs
3/4 cup of milk
2/3 cup of fine dry bread crumbs
2 tablespoons of chopped onion
3/4 teaspoon of salt
1/2 teaspoon of sage
dash of pepper
1 1/2 pounds of ground beef
1/4 cup of catsup
2 tablespoons of brown sugar
1 teaspoon of dry mustard
1 teaspoon of of lemon juice |

Mix the first 7 ingredients in a large bowl. Add the ground
beef, mixing well. Shape into a loaf and place in a shallow
baking dish. Bake at 350ºF. for 1 hour. Combine remaining 4
ingredients, mixing well. Spoon over meatloaf. Bake for 15
minutes longer. Let stand for 10 to 15 minutes for easier
slicing. Serves 6.
