Sweet & Sour Meatloaf
1 small onion, minced
1/4 cup of cracker crumbs
one 8 ounce can of tomato sauce
1/4 cup of brown sugar
1/4 cup of vinegar
1 teaspoon of vinegar
1 teaspoon of mustard
1 egg, slightly beaten
2 teaspoons of Worcestershire sauce
1 1/2 teaspoon of salt
1/2 teaspoon of pepper
2 pounds of hamburger
Blend tomato sauce, sugar, vinegar and mustard until sugar is dissolved, add egg, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper and meat. Knead onion, crackers and tomato sauce mixture into meat. Divide into 2 loaves, press firmly into a shallow oblong pan. Bake at 425ºF. for 45 minutes. Yield 12 servings
