| | Spiced Spareribs 1/2 cup of plum preserves 1/4 cup of soy sauce 2 tablespoons of dry sherry 2 teaspoons of ground ginger 1 clove garlic, minced 2 pounds of spareribs, cut into 1 rib portions |
| Place the preserves in a small glass bowl. Cook at 100% microwave power for 1 - 2 minutes until melted and smooth. Stir in soy sauce, sherry, ginger, and garlic. Add spareribs. Cover and refrigerate at least 1 hour or overnight, turning occasionally. Place the spareribs in a large glass baking dish. Brush with sauce. Cook at 100% microwave power for 8 minutes. drain liquid. Cook at 75% microwave power for 23 - 25 minutes until tender and glazed, brushing with sauce twice. Makes 12 servings
