Salmon Mousse
2 envelopes of unflavored gelatin
1/2 cup of cold water
3 tablespoons of lemon juice
2 cups of salmon, cooked and flaked
1 teaspoon of minced onion
1 cup of mayonnaise
dash of Tabasco sauce
Empty envelopes of gelatin in cold water, soak for 5 minutes.
Heat until gelatin is completely dissolved. Add lemon juice.
Cool. Mix together flaked salmon, onion, mayonnaise, and
Tabasco. Fold into gelatin mixture. Pour into fish mold. Chill
until set, and unmold. Slice and serve on lettuce. Serves 6. |
