Syrian Sesame Muffins
1 1/2 cups of flour 1 1/2 teaspoons of baking powder 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda 1/4 teaspoon of salt 1/3 cup of white sugar 1/3 cup of brown sugar 1/3 cup of toasted sesame seeds 1 Egg 1 1/4 cups of buttermilk 4 tablespoons of butter, melted 1 tablespoon of sesame oil |

Whisk wet ingredients together. make a well in center of dry ingredients and whisk in wets quickly. Spoon into muffin tins and sprinkle with a bit more sesame seeds. Bake 400ºF. 15 to 20 minutes or done. makes 12 to 14.These are a good snack muffin, eat with honey and butter.
