Jollini Casserole

Jollini Casserole

2 1/2 cups of pasta twists
2 1/4 cups of frozen peas
1/4 pound of salami, cut into thin slices
1 cup of diced zucchini
1/4 cup of chopped fresh chives or 1 tablespoon of dried chives
1 cup of sour cream
2 eggs, well beaten
1/2 teaspoon of salt
1/4 cup of grated fontina cheese
2 tablespoons of butter

Cook pasta in boiling, salted water until just tender, following package directions, drain. Boil peas in 1/2 cup of salted water for 5 minutes, drain. Preheat oven to 400ºF. Combine the pasta, salami, peas, zucchini and chives  in well buttered casserole dish. Beat sour cream, eggs, and salt together, pour over pasta mixture. Sprinkle with grated cheese and dot with butter. Bake for 30 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from oven and serve. Serves 4
