Brown the meat in a skillet, add celery, onions, garlic, and water. Cover and cook until vegetables are tender. Remove from heat. Cook the noodles in boiling, salted water following package directions, drain. Preheat oven to 300ºF. Combine the noodles and ground beef mixture, add soup, undrained mushrooms, salt and pepper. Spread mixture in 3 quart casserole. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake for 1 hour or until bubbly. Remove from oven and serve. Serves 10
