Easy Clam Alfredo

 

Easy Clam Alfredo

one 12 ounce package of vermicelli
two 6 1/2 ounce cans of minced clams
1/4 cup of Parmesan cheese, grated
1/4 cup of Romano cheese, grated
3/4 cup of milk
2 tablespoons of cornstarch
1/4 teaspoon of garlic powder
1 teaspoon of dried parsley
3 tablespoons of butter
salt and pepper to taste

Drain and reserve clam liquid. Mix all other ingredients( except vermicelli) and stir over low heat until thick. Stir often, if using a microwave. add the clam liquid and continue stirring until blended. Keep hot over low heat while cooking vermicelli. Cook vermicelli according to package directions. Pour sauce over pasta and serve on large platter.
